The Castle Douglas Soap Box Derby is an annual event where teams of soapbox racers compete down King Street in Castle Douglas, Scotland.
It's a free, family-friendly event that's a big hit in the town and surrounding region.
This year's event is scheduled for July 12th, 2026, with activities kicking off at 11 am and racing starting at 1 pm.
You'll want to arrive early, as roads will be closed from 6 am.
